A Famil-ial Christmas.

Oh God! Time flies and so quickly Christmas came and gone. New Year's also just round the corner too.

Having spent Christmas abroad before, being home this time around certainly added a little bit of warmth. My younger bro is now enjoying his first Christmas holidays overseas, touring Europe (i.e. Italy, Germany, Scotland etc). Guess he misses home but being able to travel around during his semester hiatus helps to offset some form of home-sickness I suppose. Well at least for myself, travelling did help a bit.

As was the case in previous years, we gathered at my uncle's place for our usual luncheon then dinner. Roast beef, ham, salad etc. The highlight I'd say will be the cupcakes and snowman marshmallows that my little cousins made....awh..sweet!

After all the revelry over the Christmas weekend, it's back to work. Never before have I dreaded the next day. However, when the day came, it wasn't that bad actually. Going to work on a week when the CBD is pretty quiet is great! Lesser people on the MRT, lesser people during the lunch hour...I LOVE IT! and the plus side is I also get paid. Certainly much better than lazing and slacking around at home.

Honestly, I'd rather do my media-monitoring duties in a relatively free week than rush my work when the new year beckons. I just hope that it will be a great 2012 for me; good health and may everything go smoothly.

MERRY CHRISTMAS
everyone:)!
