Different thinking for
a different world.
- Grayling PR -

Guess what? I received a long-awaited phone call from Grayling PR today! "We'd like to welcome you on board..." was the phrase I was just too happy to hear from Grayling Singapore.

I was initially worried that I might not be able to secure this internship with Grayling. Have been putting off my replies to the offers from other companies which I have applied over the past week. Grayling was my first choice PR company that I wanted to work for. So until I got a reply from Grayling, I would not have considered my other offers.

I have heard rave reviews of Grayling from some of my university professors, friends and family. Without a doubt, Grayling was high on my hit-list and well regarded in the PR industry (especially in the aviation and government relations). This is contrary to the opinions of some people whom I've spoke to recently, who expressed doubt over my choice of applying for an internship at Grayling. As long as I have confidence in Grayling, why should I let others sway my decision isn't it?

Nonetheless, I will prove to my doubters that Grayling is a GREAT employer and a PR agency brimming with immense potential. Its multicultural and diverse team at the heart of a global network of offices was also a plus point that encouraged me to apply for Grayling. Having such a localised yet global perspective on issues, Grayling is indeed a very attractive employer in my opinion.

I am also grateful for the fact that my lack of working experience did not hinder Grayling's decision to give me this chance to learn and grow. So a BIG THANK YOU to Grayling Singapore as I will cherish this hard-earned opportunity!

Really excited to start work and although the going may get tough, I am chomping at the bits to finally put my theoretical knowledge to practical use:)! Haha, ironic huh? Well well. In my upcoming blog postings, I will share with one and all my internship experience at Grayling Singapore and I hope that all of you will enjoy the impending journey just as I will.

So to my DEAR GRAYLING, let us all break new ground together with an open and fresh approach to thinking come Friday, 25 November 2011!
