“...to all Singapore residents and PRs,
a warm welcome home
- SQ onboard announcement -
That was the announcement I always hear on board the flight home. Always heartening, always welcoming. Flight was turbulent and shaking throughout the journey. Raining and wet weather greeted me as my plane circulated in the air for around 15-30 minutes before landing. Really gotta hand it to the pilot for being able to land the aircraft so smoothly despite the inclement weather with gusty winds and rain droplets pattering down...just glad to be home safe and sound!
Going home and passing along the city skyline as the backdrop, much has changed once again even though I was just away for a short period of time. Seems like change is the only constant and Singapore constantly changes. The Gardens by the Bay is up and looks scintillating (See Below) especially with its majestic flower domes playing host to numerous flower and plant breeds from around the world. Really looking forward to visiting the Gardens some time during the 1 week preview this week!
First thing I did when I touched down was to taste the Hokkien Noodles my mum bought for me from my neighbourhood's vicinity. What a taste of home...
Been busy for the past few weeks with internship interviews etc. Never before have I been through so many interviews and sent out so many cover letters and resumes. But certainly, I have gained so much more in terms of experience to handle job interviews. I even had 2 Skype interviews for the first time during the examinations period. Now everything is set and done. A few companies have replied me and I just hope I can secure the internship soon. If all goes to plan, I will start work next week. Fingers crossed.
Really excited to start work. Will be tough but I'm relishing the challenge and opportunity to learn! Ok, kinda tired having woken up pretty early for my morning flight and considering Melbourne is 3 hours ahead, I'm all the more tired. So gonna catch some sleep and cya all around again:)!
