Mind Over Body
- Johnny English Reborn -

Went to watch Johnny English Reborn yesterday. Thought the show was just okay with some exceptionally hilarious moments particularly when Johnny English met the Prime Minister and thought he was joking. Had a really great laugh after all the ruffle and tumble of semester that just flashed by. Have always loved Rowan Atkinson since his days as Mr. Bean and watching this show was hardly a tough choice (a natural one) I'd say.

The key idea from the show that struck me was "Mind Over Body" and the importance of concentration in overcoming adversity. Can't help but relate back to the movie Red Cliff II when the movie's Zhou Yu said, "Concentration. When the enemy is over-confident, one must double our concentration. With concentration, one can kill a giant with a pebble."

In other words, one's mind has control over how one wants things to pan out. Putting one's heart and soul into everything we do will, we can make ourselves stronger in things that we're once weak in. Same thing applies to our daily life I suppose.

Had dim-sum lunch with a friend whom I have not met for so long today. Went to a new restaurant at Melbourne Central - Oriental Teahouse and chatted lots of stuff from gossip to academic work and our future. I love all this kind of catch ups and am hopeful there will be more. Always brings back the good old days...The food wasn't that nice. Certainly chatted more than we ate. But the tea there was a novelty. So many unique varieties with each equally tempting.
