“This is United, we all believe until the last minute.

- Nani, Manchester United & Man of the Match-
This quote says it all. The teamwork. The "Never-Say-Die" spirit. The epitome of Champions. The equaliser by Nani was football at its very best as City's defenders were left dumbfounded.
When I was watching the match, my heart sank when United went 2-0 down to City at half-time. They always say that a game is of 2 halves and it really was. The moment United scored one back, I knew that they can go all the way. Just like they have done in the past and I'm glad they did it yesterday.
City played a negative game while United play attractive football. The stats said it all. United had 21 shots on target compared to City's 8. At 2-2, City were content to play for penalties. However, it was not meant to be as United NEVER like penalties; WE PLAY TO WIN!
I just saw Vincent Kompany's reply that the defeat means nothing as it's just the Community Shield. Sour grapes I suppose? At the end of the day, City once again flattered to deceive with the TRUE champions reigning supreme again. YAAY!
Success is not built with just cash overnight. The values and culture of a club is what makes a club GREAT in Manchester United. That's why City can never be like United until it builds a tradition of its own.
As recent tradition show, the winner of the Community Shield usually goes on to win the league. Hopefully it will again be correct this coming season:)
GLORY GLORY MAN UTD!!!
